Call me crazy but the Lakers got worse, they added a bunch of good players this off-season and they are better than the ones that left, but the Lakers defense is lowkey ass at least against the blazers it was. Harrel is sorry as fuck on defense the blazers were exploiting that, last year there defense was amazing because they had multiple ah out blockers and it was hard to get in the paint but now that the centers are harrel and gasol they ain’t blocking shit and Anthony Davis is a special defender but not as much at 5, and also rondo was one of the leagues best defenders and playmakers Schroeder can’t play defense to save his life. The reason the Lakers last year was so special was because they were so well rounded, they had people playing the right roles but now they have role players will different styles of play, they will still be a top team but it makes life a easier for teams like the blazers which rely mostly on there offense.
